How a quick analysis works
Upload your project
A ZIP of your KiCad 8–10 project, up to 32 MiB: schematic, PCB, BOM and any datasheet PDFs.
Answer a few questions
SchematicIQ reads the design first, then asks up to five questions about supplies, loads and operating modes: what a schematic can't tell it.
Get your report
Findings graded Critical to Low with evidence and a recommendation, a score and component verdicts, in one HTML report you can download.
What SchematicIQ checks
Component stress
Voltage, current and power against datasheet ratings per operating mode
Power rails & connectors
Inventory of rails, interfaces and where the design meets the outside world
PCB copper & thermals
Pour necks, via counts and thermal copper against current
Prioritised findings
Every issue graded Critical to Low with evidence and a recommendation
Questions about SchematicIQ
Which files does SchematicIQ need?
A ZIP of a KiCad 8, 9 or 10 project with the schematic and, if you have it, the PCB and BOM. Add the datasheets of key parts as PDFs: without them, ratings are marked as assumed rather than checked.
Does SchematicIQ review firmware?
No. It reviews the electrical design only: the schematic, the board and the parts on it.
Do I need to keep the page open?
No. You can close the tab and come back with the same link in the same browser. If SchematicIQ asks you questions, answer them within 48 hours, or the review expires and you can start a new one.
How many quick analyses can I run?
Up to two per day.
Does it replace an engineer's sign-off?
No. A quick analysis is guidance that helps you find issues early. For a full design review or help fixing what it finds, talk to CircuitWare.
Automated review for guidance only, not a substitute for an engineer's sign-off. Need a full design review or help fixing what it finds? Talk to CircuitWare.
